Job requirements:

1.Bachlor degree, major with navigation or marine engineer； 
2. At least 2 years experiences with 3/O or 4/E or higher ranks. Experiences with related marine & cargo surveyor will add your star.
3. Fluent communication with parties involved in English, quick learning, capability of written an English report independently.   
4. Capability of bearing hardships, hard works, enjoy team work.
5. Headquarter at Shanghai but survey jobs will be carried out around China, not limited at Shanghai.

1.P&I Club Full Condition Survey

To check the overall condition of the vessel’s hull and engine, reporting according to the Club’s reporting format.

2.On / Off Hire Bunker and Condition Survey

To check/calculate the bunker quantity remain on board at the material time, and inspect the hull / hold condition, as per client’s requirement.

3.Pre-loading, discharging Survey

To check the cargo condition (rust, rusty, seriously rusty, chafed, scourged, scratched etc) prior to / during the loading / discharging operation, and help the Master/Chief Officer to endorse the Mate’s Receipt. The purpose for this kind of survey is to protect the vessel‘s Owners / Charterer from any cargo damage claim.

4.Marine Casualty, Hull & Machinery damage Survey

To check the casualty’s damage extent, nature and cause, especially the cause of the damage is very important for each particular case. Usually, the cause will be the guidelines for the Hull & Machinery Underwriters for compensation or not the insured. The second key issue is to assess the damage extent of the casualty, this is the basis that the H & M Underwriter will compensate to the insured. Usually, the casualty for machinery is: M/E, A/E, Bow thruster, Rudder, steering gear, stern tube, tailshaft etc.

5.CONTAINERIZED Cargo Damage, Cargo Damage Survey.

To check the casualty’s damage nature, extent and cause. This survey usually involved all the parties concerned, such as the shipper, consignee, underwriters, forwarder, carrier etc.

6.Container Stuffing etc Survey

To check the cargo securing condition inside the containers: lashing, chocking stowage etc.

7.Vessel / Cargo Evaluation

According to the ship sale and purchase market information, to firstly check the vessel’s overall condition as requested by the clients, and then assess the value of the vessel.
